CHARLTON — Police arrested 30 people, most of them underage, late Saturday night when they broke up a drinking party where a 48-year-old Charlton man was allegedly providing the booze.
Police arrested Dell Williams, 48, of 22 City Depot Road, and charged him with selling or delivering alcohol to individuals under 21.
Duane Williams, 21, of 16 Jade Hill Road, Auburn, was also arrested on the same charge. Two of those arrested are juveniles, according to Police Chief James A. Pervier.
The remaining people are charged with possession of liquor under 21 years of age.
Dan Lacroix, who lives at the home and said he is the stepson of Dell's brother, Dan, said Dell is Duane's father. Dan Lacroix said he was unaware of the incident and was not home at the time.
"We don't know what goes on down there," he said when reached at the home Monday afternoon.
The adults arrested were scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday at Dudley District Court, according to Pervier. He did not specify when the juveniles would have their hearings.
