Sturbridge continues TA search process
No new resumes will be sought

STURBRIDGE — The Town Administrator Search Committee is not changing direction — they are going to pivot, according to Chairman James Ehrhard.
"We're going to have to broaden our perspective," Ehrhard said of the committee, which met Wednesday, Jan. 6 to determine their course of action following the Board of Selectmen's Dec. 21 dismissal of the three candidates presented as finalists.
During the December meeting, selectmen Thomas Creamer and Scott Garieri, who also serves on the search committee, voted in support of candidate John D'Agostino, though the three remaining selectmen, Hal White, Ted Goodwin and Chairman Mary Blanchard declined to support any of the candidates.
With no town administrator in the wake of that meeting, search committee members have found themselves in somewhat of a gray area, but have decided to re-examine the 65 applications received during the last advertising period rather than begin the entire search process at square one for a third time.
