SPRINGFIELD — Former Holland Police Chief Kevin P. Gleason was sentenced to two years in the Hampden County House of Corrections Monday, after pleading guilty to stealing more than $10,000 from the town.

Gleason is to report for incarceration Monday, Sept. 28.

At a hearing in Hampden County Superior Court in Springfield, Assistant District Attorney James Orenstein charged Gleason with one count of larceny exceeding $250 by a single scheme, and two counts of larceny exceeding $250.

Gleason pled guilty to all three charges, waiving his right to a formal indictment and arraignment.
