Sturbridge frustrated over static from Charter
August 26, 2009
STURBRIDGE — For the umpteenth time in the 10 years Sturbridge has been committed to a contract with Charter Communications, town officials — and residents — are looking for some clarity on the public access channel.
Selectman Thomas Creamer has just about had his fill of the cable system, which has generated more complaints than complements since the town entered into the agreement with Charter in 1999.
"The overall sound and visual quality people get at their homes relative to our meetings is atrocious," Creamer said.
