A spectacular Fourth
OSV caps celebration with fireworks

STURBRIDGE — Jim and Beverly Tetreault certainly have not let the meaning of Independence Day slip away from them.
"Appreciate what you have," said Jim Tetreault as he prepared to watch the fireworks Saturday, July 4, at Old Sturbridge Village (OSV).
Tetreault, a West Warren native, has good reason to remember that lesson. His daughter, Crystal, an Army veteran, served a tour as a truck driver in Kuwait, in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Approximately 4,000 people from various states gathered at OSV last weekend to celebrate the birth of the United States. Besides the fireworks, partygoers enjoyed live music, sack races and other simple activities.
