Sturbridge panel starts TA search
July 01, 2009
STURBRIDGE — In this economic climate, there are not a lot of cities and towns in Massachusetts boasting good financial health.
Sturbridge is one of a few exceptions, and members of the Town Administrator Search Committee aim to keep it that way.
The five-member committee met for the first time on Thursday, June 25, to draft an advertisement for the position vacated recently by James Malloy, who served as town administrator here for more than 14 years.
Interim Town Administrator Michael Racicot, the former administrator of Rockport, will begin working in Sturbridge on Monday, July 13.
