SOUTHBRIDGE — Plans for the new Southbridge High School are progressing — a new architect has been chosen to design the building along with a new site.
Boston-based Tappé Associates Inc. was chosen to design plans for the proposed school, according to state and local officials.
The school will be located at a site on Torrey Road, according to School Building Committee Chairman Scott Lazo.
A designer selection panel chose the company Tuesday, June 2, from of a total group of three ranked companies. Worcester-based Lamoureux Pagano & Associates, Inc. and Boston-based Flansburgh Associates Inc., the other two finalists, were ranked number two and three respectively.
