SOUTHBRIDGE — Whether you were looking for international cuisine, live music or the chance to hold a Burmese python, you could find it at Southbridge Fest.

The Saturday festival was the third annual community event — and by many accounts, the best to date.

"This is one of the best events I've seen occur in years," said Southbridge Police Sgt. Brian Haggerty.

Janet E. Garon, co-chairman of the Southbridge Fest planning committee, agreed.

"This is probably the biggest family day kind of community event," Garon said.
