SOUTHBRIDGE — In a sparsely attended public hearing over what was expected to be a heated issue, the Traffic Commission opted not to make any changes to downtown parking rules until the police have some time to actually enforce the existing ones.
"It's very cost-effective," said Police Chief Daniel Charette. "We're not doing this to make money in any way, just to get traffic moving."
