CHARLTON — When Jamie Zeveska takes her first step next month as one of 9,000 walkers participating in the Jimmy Fund Walk, she wont be worried about the 26.2 miles in front her.

Instead, the Charlton resident and owner of Charlton Performance on Old Muggett Hill Road, said she will be thinking about the plight of a cancer patient, knowing that sore feet could never compare to what they go through.

"I think about the people suffering from cancer, and I just feel lucky. If I get a blister on my foot – who cares? That's nothing in the big scheme of things," said Zeveska, who originally hails from Oxford.
