SOUTHBRIDGE — Theirs is a collaboration born in the Tri-Community and now taking them on tour across America to showcase musical talents other have described as "unique, soulful, dramatic, and arcane."

If there's any mystery at all in the harmonious pairing of Tim Harrington and Paul Wright, it's that their unique and soulful sound isn't better known to local audiences. That ought to be remedied this weekend when the duo, now known as "Tall Heights" to their fans, will perform on the gazebo as part of Southbridge's Summer Concerts on the Common series. The performance, supported by a grant from the Southbridge Cultural Council, is free and open to the public, running from 6-8 p.m.

Not that these young musicians haven't already paid their hometown dues. The Sturbridge natives went to Burgess Elementary School together through Grade 6 (though Wright was actually a classmate of Harrington's older brother) and then wound up car-pooling to the Bancroft School in Worcester, where Wright completed high school in 2004, and Harrington in 2006.
