CHARLTON — Ordinarily, Stuart Milner's truck and trailer would be parked in a warehouse behind the former Charlton Woolen Mill, where he's stored it for the last half a dozen years.

On Thursday night, July 26, the Spencer resident got a call while driving the truck — with the trailer in tow — home from Pennsylvania asking if the items were in their usual spot.

Around 9 p.m., a fire started in the warehouse that would reduce it and everything stored inside to rubble, damage neighboring buildings and send six firefighters to the hospital.
