STURBRIDGE — Are you brave enough to stay in a supposedly haunted building once the lights go out?

Several residents were up to the challenge on Friday, July 20, during a Paranormal Salem event at Old Sturbridge Village. Proceeds from the lecture and subsequent spirit hunt benefited Harrington Auxiliary.

"This is an annual event that is held in memory of my grandmother, Cecile Edmunds, who was a nurse and volunteer at Harrington," said Natalie Lacasse, a Southbridge resident and member of Harrington Auxiliary who helped organize the event. "This was the first time we had Paranormal Salem come out here. Another group did it prior to that."
