CHARLTON — The Dudley-Charlton Regional School District is looking to the Massachusetts School Building Authority (MSBA) to help fund a renovation and addition to Shepherd Hill Regional High School that would extend the building's capacity to serve the communities of Charlton and Dudley for at least 50 years.

The MSBA is a quasi-independent government authority that collaborates with municipalities across the state on school-building projects, reimbursing cities, towns, and regional school districts for approved school construction projects.

Their representatives and contracted structural engineering firm visited the school for a senior site visit Tuesday, July 10, getting a firsthand look at the physical deficiencies that plague the nearly 40 year old building.
