SOUTHBRIDGE — "Love thy neighbor as thyself." Every Tuesday through the summer, Sturbridge Worship Center (SWC) puts that celestial commandment into practice with its "outreach and activities … to the Southbridge community on the Southbridge Common."

Specifically, members of the Mashapaug Road, Sturbridge, congregation are presenting a Sidewalk Sunday School every Tuesday morning (10:30 a.m. to noon) this summer, featuring Bible lessons, games, snacks, music, and prizes for kids of all ages. For free.

The weekly gatherings are coordinated by Gail and Mark Richards of SWC, who provide the music, lead the games, dancing, and singing, and offer a short Bible story or lesson with a weekly scriptural theme.
