SOUTHBRIDGE — "It was really just a hallway when we got here," says Lenny Petrillo, owner of Annie's Kitchen in Sturbridge and one half of the team behind recent renovations and redesign of the lower level of LaSalle Hall on Main Street.

The building serves as a meeting hall and rental facility for the Blessed John Paul II parish next door.

Margaret Farrand, event coordinator for the hall, is the second half of the team and eager to show off the hallway-turned-dish room and the 1950s-era kitchen now sporting state-of-the-art commercial stoves and appliances.
