CHARLTON — The Rev. Paul Samuelson insists that change is good.

Good for him, as he embarks on a new chapter in his life; and good for the people of the Charlton City United Methodist Church, where he recently retired from after spending more than a decade as their pastor.

"It's a new chapter for everyone," he told Stonebridge Press from his New Braintree home last week, after officially ending his tenure at the Charlton church on Sunday, June 24. "[The congregation] gets to bond with a new pastor, and I can kick back and see what God wants me to do."
