Organizations to team up for dog training series

July 04, 2012
CHARLTON — The Friends of the Charlton Animal Shelter will team up with Southbridge's Pack of Paws Professional Dog Training to offer a series of classes in "dog safety" over the summer.

The programs are a fulfillment of FOCAS' promise to bring some extras to the shelter after reaching their goal of actually building it. The classes will take place at the new Charlton Municipal Animal Shelter at 15 Old Town Road.

"It's about outreach and education," said assistant animal control officer and FOCAS member Lisa Westwell.
